UNRAA & World War II Child Survivors Exhibit  

This 15-panel exhibit focuses on the relief efforts for child Holocaust survivors provided by the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration (UNRRA) in the Kloster Indersdorf children’s DP center near Dachau, Germany following World War II. This historical exhibit is organized by the Concentration Camp Memorial Site Flossenbürg in Germany.

The exhibit will be open during regular library hours

June 24 – July 3 @ Sherrills Ford-Terrell Branch Library

 

 

 

Suitcases for Foster Children Donations List

New and/or Gently Used Suitcases or Luggage

Coloring Books
Crayons
Adult Coloring Books (for Teens) Colored Pencils
New Blankets
New Stuffed Animals
New Boys and Girls Underwear (All Sizes)

Financial donations are also appreciated. Checks should be made out to

“Family Builders”.

Donations will be accepted at the Sherrills Ford Terrell Branch Library all summer.

 

Operation Gratitude: Thank you Letters to our Military

Writing a letter is a great way for Americans to show support for all who serve or have served in the military.

Bring the entire family to the library on July 12 to write a letter or draw a picture to say “Thank you!”.

Wednesday, July 12 4 PM
